Battle of Medina Commemoration
The Battle of Medina occurred on August 18, 1813 between the Royal Spanish Army and the Republican Army of the North. Between 800 and 1,300 Americans, Tejanos, Native Americans, and Spanish soldiers died in this battle.
The commemoration of the battle will take place on August 17,2019 at 10AM. Location will be on Old Applewhite Rd just past Bruce Rd. in Poteet Texas.
The symposium will start at 1:PM in Leming, Texas.
